About Adi Blotman
Adi is a comedy writer and performer. Born and raised in Israel, Adi has been obsessed with American TV and film since she can remember. After her (mandatory but fun) army service, Adi moved to New York and attended the New Actors Workshop Conservatory under the legendary Mike Nichols and George Morrison.
After discovering the Joy and power of comedy, Adi went on to perform sketch, standup, and improv in New York for over a decade. She has been featured in Time Out NY, Fox 5 News, and has performed in festivals and tours across the country, as well as producing her own monthly show “Humor Haus.”
Since moving to LA in 2013, Adi has completed the Feature Film writing certificate program at UCLA Extension with distinction and has had her comedy scripts consistently placing highly in festivals and competitions. She has written several articles for Final Draft’s blog, after winning the comedy feature category of the 2015 screenwriting contest.
Adi continues to write comedy features and pilots, often featuring strong, flawed women taking charge of their lives, questioning what they know, and making their own choices. Adi’s greatest passion is comedy. And food. But unlike food, she can have comedy any time she wants and at greater quantities, guilt-free. So comedy wins.
